DOF edge artifacts on foreground objects

if you are using Path Tracer like me, my solution is go to post process volume, and tick the reference depth of field. i think this forum doesn’t provide me with this method after days of searching. finally found on reddit.

Good to know, but we mostly don´t use pathtracer, so the other workaround works best.
Pretty sure its just a limitation due to the realtime restrictions, just like it would be for a post-production DoF effect based on the z-depth.
