Does Unreal not have support for accessing the Niagara Component Sprite Rendering Material from BP or c++?

Unable to read Niagara Component Sprite Rendering Material from BP or c++

I don’t really need a solution but I’m looking for clarification. Dose Unreal not have support for accessing the Niagara Component Sprite Rendering Material from BP or c++? I have the ability to set that material via user params but there dose not seem to be a way to access said material.

I’m sure this is something plenty of people are confused about.
