Does quality decrease on increase of mesh and maps

Hi

i am working on a VR project Using HTC Vive. Recently towards the end of the project it seems like the quality has been compromised.
i mean the aliasing was hing, also on the image textures there was a kind of moire at longer distance

I want to know whether this happens to the increased polycount of the project or the texture values. Sady this is happening on near deliver time.
