Does exist "destructible particles"?

Hi everybody, im trying make the effect of destructible particles with the example of simply rocks. My idea its in a few seconds some particle mesh’s (rocks) start to dissolve in the air “fracturing” the mesh.

If anybody knows how i can realize this effect with the mesh emitter or if exist “destructible particles” for unreal engine, please tell me how i can do.

Afaik there isnt a destructable particle system.
What I do though, Is make an alternative version of the rock that exists out of multiple parts, and replace them instantly when I expect them to break.
