Does engine scalability affect the final render quality

Hi all, very new to Unreal Editor. Using 5.1.1 currently and looking to render stills to incorporate into my photographic work. I’ve noticed the Engine Scalability option in the viewport, which I can run on Cinematic, but it becomes quite slow once I add more and more geometry and materials (along with Nanite meshes).

For ease of use, I’d opt for a low setting on the scalability option, but I’d like to know whether this would affect the quality of the final product or only the actual viewport rendering in Lumen? I’ve got a laptop with an Nvidia 3050 Ti so naturally Raytracing is enabled (because, why not?) but any insight into this question would be very much appreciated. Thank you!
