I’ve claimed quixel assets/Megascans from Fab for free using the “claim all” button, and on the quixel page on Fab, it shows ‘You own this item’ when I click on any asset. Is everything set, or do I still need to manually add them to my library to access them after the year ends? Can anyone confirm if simply claiming the Megascans from that link is enough to keep them permanently?

Hey there @Rishiwarman! Welcome to the community! The mechanism to add all to the library is currently not functional. They should in fact be yours, adding to the library must be done for now it seems if you want to use the asset before that is corrected.
- After you claim all Megascans , you can access them from the Quixel profile on Fab, but they will not be added to My Library at this time. We’re working on a solution to add all of your claimed assets to My Library as soon as possible.
- UPDATE 10/23: You may now add individual assets to your Fab library; we do not yet have a solution to add them all to your library. If you have claimed all assets, each Megascans listing page will correctly indicate that “You own this item” even if the item does not appear in your library.

And what about the second question, can you keep the megascan assets after '24 or do you have to add them to the library or download them beforhand?

Hey there @name235711! Welcome to the community! From all the publicly available information that I could dig up, as long as you have claimed the assets you should be able to use them under the FAB standard license after 2024 ends.
Ok, ‘should be able to use them under the FAB standard license after 2024 ends’, but what about being able to download them after 2024 ends’? Will we be able to download them for free after 2024 ends, and does adding them to Library affect that?

Hey there @ibishtar! Welcome back to the community! There has been no mention of the exact mechanism, though the verbiage suggests that you should retain the right to download them as long as they were in your assets by the time of deprecation. I’ll see if I can reach out for a full clarification.

Time is running out for the end of the year and there is still no button to add all to library, and this question still hasn’t been answered.

As of this post update on 11/28 the plan is that the 18,000 Quixel legacy assets are now available to grab in bulk on the Quixel homepage until 2025 and it’s been announced that Quixel and Quixel Bridge will remain active until FAB is at feature parity.
The “Add All to Library” feature wasn’t added now it seems but this should bridge the gap until it’s prepared.
Is this a bug? I have 16 items marked as owned and thousands that aren’t. I clicked the claim button when fab launched and the option was available, however most of the megascans listings aren’t marked as owned for me.

If you open the individual asset page it should say you own each one, it does for me. The ones with the “owned” ticks looks like they’re the ones which have been manually added to your library. But yeah it’s a bit frustrating. As far as I know it is not necessary to add each one to the library manually, but I can’t be a 100% sure as you never know how the website functionality will change.
