Do I need to change the Framerate Settings for VR?

When I run my VR project on my normal computer screen the frames are locked at 62fps. Just like in the Framerate settings. (Project Settings -> Engine -> General Settings)

Will they be unlocked when I run the game on the VIVE or do I have to change the settings? (I can only test the packaged project at university)
I created my level around the VR Motion Controller Template.
