DMX Sample Project - Jerky Moving Heads during slow movement

Hello. I wonder if there is any solution for DMX fixtures that behave strange when movement speed is too slow. I use MagicQ PC from Chamsys to control Unreal DMX system and play with DMX Sample Project. Accordinlgy to documentation I also have chosen proper light manufacturer to patch it with moving heads. Everything works fine despite slow movements. When timing is slow there are jerks on light cones. I am not very familiar with DMX side and my thought is that maybe “DMX Send Rate” in Hz is too slow for such movement? From my experience it can be “cheated” in some way by chaning “Interpolation Scale” of Pan and Tilt component of Moving Head in UE blueprint. However it seems to not be a proper way because it results in differences in lamp visualiser in Chamsys MagicQ lamps move in different speeds.

Here is a short vid explaining the problem:

After many tests I have no more ideas why it behaves like that.
Maybe that is limitation for now.

I’ve also checked DMX groups but no one has mentioned that.

What are your thoughts about it?

Have you checked the DMX Channel Monitor in Unreal to see that the values are smoothly changing over time?

From a DMX end, the send rate is usually 44hz which I’ve used countless times for slow movement and dimming in entertainment rigs without issue. I know some LDs swear by 16-bit pan/tilt control for nice finite control, so maybe a test with that would help?
