I’m getting a black screen on the content examples vr map and the showdown demo when using the Oculus DK1.
Tested modes VR preview, standalone game
UE version 4.9.1
AMD catalyst version
15.20.1062.1005 for oculus rift
Oculus runtime 0.7.0

After looking into your issue we were able to find that this issue a known issue on the end of Oculus. The Newest run time is not supported for the DK1 currently. You can try rolling back to the 6.0.1 runtime to see if that allows you to use the DK1. I have provided a link to the Oculus forms page for more information.

The oculus runtime 6.0.1 didn’t work, but reinstalling 7.0.0 and the amd oculus drivers seemed to do the trick. Thanks for your help.
