Don’t laugh but I let my friends use the DK1 (it’s okay to break), but it doesn’t work in 4.7.4 works great in 4.6. I checked the plugin and my drivers everything is up to date and checked.
Thanks,

Thanks,
I just plugged my DK1 in the other day and found the same thing. It doesn’t work in 4.7+ I’m sure I’m missing something simple here. To add some details to the question: When in the editor I try and use alt+enter to go into rift mode but it just makes the game fullscreen. The VR preview is also greyed out. It is as if it isn’t recognizing the device, although it shows up in the oculus config utility and works on standalone demos and pre 4.7 editor releases.
I found this solution on the forums which I am currently trying: I will report back with results.

So I got mine to work. I updated the oculus runtime to the latest, which as of this posting was 0.5.0.1. Get it from the Oculus site:
https://developer.oculus.com/downloads/
After doing that I tried the suggestions in the above link and this is what worked:
After doing this both the VR preview and using alt + enter in a standalone game work for me in 4.7 (4.7.4) I should mention that even thought the rift is set to Extend Desktop to the HMD I don’t have to drag the screen over into the rift like I used to have to. VR preview just goes straight in as well as alt+enter.
Thank you sir that was it.
