Distort UV's - What's wrong with my setup?


I’d like to deform a texture evenly but something in my setup seems to be wrong and I hope you can tell me what exactly it ist :slight_smile:

As you can see, I’m using two textures: a simple noise and a ring shape. I want to distort the ring with the noise but as you can see in the image attached, the distortion effect does not occur in the marked areas (red). What am I doing wrong? This also happens without the panner node:

Does anybody know where is the problem here? I got same problem in Unity. I think its always there, we just dont notice until you work with distinct shapes
