DistanceToNearestSurface not working with Quality Switch

Summary

I’m using DistanceToNearestSurface for High Resolution gameplay and DepthFade for Low Resolution, controlled through a Quality Switch. It works correctly in UEFN Preview Mode, but it doesn’t work during actual gameplay.

Steps to Reproduce

Create a material using DistanceToNearestSurface for High Resolution and DepthFade for Low Resolution, control them with a Quality Switch, test in UEFN Preview Mode, then launch gameplay.

Expected Result

The material should switch correctly in gameplay just like in Preview Mode.

Observed Result

It works in Preview Mode but does not switch correctly during actual gameplay.
