Distance Fields, Forward renderer working?

Hello, can anyone confirm that they have seen distance field traced shadows and DFAO working under the forward renderer in 4.14?

My initial experience was that Unreal would crash when visualizing distance fields and subsequently I have not seen these features working.

Thanks for reporting this. I’ve submitted a ticket for this to be investigated. You can follow the status here if you’d like: Unreal Engine Issues and Bug Tracker (UE-40346)

Distance Fields do work for stationary lights currently, but not for dynamic only. Shadow casting for movable lights has not been implemented in 4.14 but should be working in 4.15. I’m not entirely sure if DFAO is expected to work currently in forward, though. Forward Rendering still has some features that are missing that will be added over the next several releases.
