I’m currently trying to implement a SFX involving a material of a wall dissolving to reveal another material. Anyone able to point me in the right direction in how to do so?
Iv tried using Layered Materials however it seems to dissolve both the base material and the top material due to the Material Param collection iv set. Another way Iv been theorising is to basically “Houdini it” by having 2 wall meshs (1 being 0.5 or something thicker) and just dissolve one mesh to reveal the other but I have a feeling that will look improper and must be a better way. Any help would be appreciated
