I’m having problems getting detail in my ground material when Path Tracing. It was looking great in “lit” mode when I had displacement working but I quickly realized that it doesn’t work with path tracing. I was wondering what my alternatives are?
I’m using a YouTube tutorial as inspiration for my project, and it looks like in the video that the artist has displacement or something similar going on in his render, but doesn’t mention it at all in the video.
Anyone have any ideas?

NOTE: The ground mesh in the foreground is not part of my landscape. Its a separate object I made with a higher resolution so I could vertex paint gravel around my rock props.
(I was having issues painting gravel around the rocks using landscape layers because of the low vertex resolution)
