In 4.26 I am unable to use Displacement Maps. Importing exr. file, compression set to vectordisplacement map, connecting to material node “World Displacement” with Tesselation on, does not show any effect in Wireframe as well as in the Game View. The Displacement Map and the other Material Channels were exported by Mixer. And in Mixer, the Displacement is there, in UE4.26 it is not.
Any suggestions?
I am not tending to use Displacement Maps in Games anyway, but that Displacement wouldnt work at all is new to me.
Try multiplying displacement with VertexNormalWS. Also for less or more effect of displacement you can multiply displacement texture with a number before multiplying it with VertexNormalWS. It should be simple.
I have spent literally an entire day trying to do multiple variations with displacement and landscape material (specifically with blended layers). It does not pick up any changes within any of the functions and does absolutely nothing when breaking the very last material attribute and making attribute with the proper node. Glad I am not the only one ripping their hair out.
