Hi there,
I have stumbled upon a problem. I have an object with two different materials on it and I am using displacement maps for both of them. Everything works nice but there are holes at the places where the two materials meet. So I was wondering if there is a possibility to fix this somehow, maybe restrict these places from being displaced?

Any ideas?
In case somebody needs this - there is a workaround this issue. You just need to turn the crack free displacement OFF and add a new b\w texture to the material where black areas should go along all the contours of your UV islands. This texture serves to disable any displacement so that the holes do not appear.
I found out that these problems can be fixed by using vertex color. And you should of course turn the crack free displ on.
