Summary
Since the option to automatically translate metadata for discovery is available, I’ve been trying to activate it, but the translation doesn’t appear in the game. A friend of mine then sent an HTTP request to the server to see what the problem is and found that there is a missing an underscore for the translations.
Example: instead of “alt_title”, “alt_tagline” and “alt_introduction” I have “altTitle”, “altTagline” and “altIntroduction”. How can I fix it? When publishing, “machine localize” is activated and the text entered is English.
And my UEFN games didn’t even get translations even though it was enabled.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open the dialog to publish an island in Creator Portal
- Select „machine localize“ for title, Description and introduction.
- Publish and wait
Expected Result
The text should be translated and displayed in the Discover screen.
Observed Result
The text is not translated in the game even after weeks or months and UEFN Islands get no translation (not on server)
