After the v29.30 update, disabling Down but Not Out no longer works. In games where there are more than one player per team, players will enter a knocked state rather than elimination.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Play https://www.fortnite.com/@theboydilly/7632-5434-5590 or https://www.fortnite.com/@theboydilly/7048-8422-2298 or another game with over 1 player per team that has DBNO turned OFF.
    **** We are adding a patch to these games now, the observed result is still there but we are auto-respawning players
  2. Get eliminated. Instead of being eliminated you will be knocked into a DBNO state

Expected Result

You are eliminated and respawn.

Observed Result

You enter a DBNO knocked state

Vouch. Seems Island settings for shield for example have randomly reset in LIVE games -_-
