Disable Substrate (Package Errors)

Hello Epic Devs,

I recently gave substrate a try for my Unreal Project. But from what i am seeing,it doesnt allow to me to package,it works perfectly fine in the editor.

Am i doing something wrong with the packaging? Because i generally want to use the new material system for my game, but if it doesnt support packaging i would like to go back.

The problem is whenever i disable it,all the materials are black.I know how to fix them, but i cant just delete the same node for more than a 100 times… + re-plugging everything like Albedo,Normal,Roughness etc

Thanks for your time!

I just had the same exact issue when trying to package my project. Substrate causes me to have a Direct3D compile error. Does anyone know how to fix this??

hello! I solved this issue in my previous post,SUBSTRATE DOES NOT SUPPORT PROJECT PACKAGING.I will leave this open for updates.Cheers!

Simply disable substrate and make your materials again( yes one by one ) if you want to package.

Yep,ive set randomly Renderer setting to check how good can look scene and couldn’t package, spent alot of time to fix this issue. Would be cool to inform that packaging with this option enabled can be impossible
