Recentlly I try to work on a project by using TrinusVR.
But as you may know the software TinusVR is designed with Splitscreen.
So If I use VR preview mode with TrinusVR will become totally 4 split screen in my phone.
Is there any way to use VR Preview but as a single image without split?
Project plan
PC (UE4) and LeapMotion—> TrinusVR —projected to the phone–> Samsung Note 3 —> Cardboard
I would like to know the answer to this as well. I am not using TrinusVR, but I do want to record a screencast of my VR project. The game preview would be much clearer to my audience if the preview was not split.
After made some attempts, use “New Editor Window (PIE)” to run it has lesser problem. What are you using if not TrinusVR? I am also looking for any subsitute in case any unforseen problem.
Thanks for the tip and sorry for the delay in responding to you. For my project, I’m using the Oculus Rift. My VR Preview is currently split into two screens and I just want one. I thought that there may be some option in Unreal Engine that disables the split of the VR preview, or if not that, then I wonder what the best way would be to make an in-game video of a VR project. Maybe there is another feature I’m not aware of. For your situation, however, it seems like you may need to figure out how to disable the split in Unreal Engine’s VR preview and then also figure out how to disable the split caused by the TrinusVR. Hopefully someone will be able to shed light on whether this is possible or not.
I think what you are looking for is the command to change the mirror mode set for the hmd.
