Disable all reflections?

Hi. Reflections are something I haven’t really been dealing with so far and I could use some help here. My project was created with the “scalable” performance settings. I don’t want to compromise performance for reflections either.

I noticed that the only thing being reflected at all in my scene is the sky-sphere. I am not sure why, because, as far as I can tell, it’s just a really big static mesh and not fundamentally different than any other static mesh in the scene… Anyway, the sky reflection is extremely low-res, blurry and sort of “zoomed in” compared to the actual sky.

Now, the options I am considering are to improve the reflection to the point where it actually looks acceptable or to disable reflections entirely (just light “reflections”, no scene image), but I couldn’t figure out how to do either.

I checked the materials and the project settings. There are only 4 settings under rendering->reflections. I increased the value for “Reflection Capture Resolution” with no effect, probably because I am not using any reflection capture actors in the first place… The “Reflection Method” is locked to “Lumen”.

I can’t find a way to either improve or disable the sky reflection completely
