Dirt occlusion from lighting?

Hi all,

I am trying to make a material that is mostly glossy, but I want there to be patches of dirt on it, so that when I see the sun hit that area, the dirt doesn’t shine or reflect. I’ve seen roughly how to do this but nothing that speaks directly about what I want to do. What sort of set up would I need for this? What nodes etc would I need to use in material editor?

Simple question but one I’m sure one of you fine people will know the answer to.

Thanks in Advance!

All you need to do is have a higher roughness value where the dirt is. The documentation should be very helpful: 1.4 - Roughness | Unreal Engine Documentation

Ah, lovely, thanks! Shall have to give it a go. Seems simple enough!
