Directional Light Passing through walls

Hi there, I am facing severe light bleeds.

Unreal Engine Version: 5.3.2-29314046+++UE5+Release-5.3
Mac book pro M1 pro

So there is a castle and I have setup big walls to stop light bleeds through the walls. But when I go inside the interior is fully lit by the directional light. I tried blocking it with multiple layers of planes but the result is still the same.

Can someone help me with this?
Have tried few changes in project setting but the result is still same.

The word ‘preview’ everywhere tells me your directinal light in stationary.

If that’s intentional, then you need to build light before deciding if the scene is setup correctly.

If you are not intending to use static lights, then changing the directional light to moveable might help.

i wanna add. lumen has a “voxel” resolution for light probes in various lods of detail. you need a certain thickness in meshes to block light traversing thru them. also slant angles do not help. a straight box is much preferred.
