Hi Everyone,
When rendering with Path Tracer, I found that the Remote Render output appears noticeably less sharp than the Local Render output, despite identical Movie Pipeline configurations and render machine. As shown in the attached screenshot, the dinosaur’s texture appears significantly sharper in the local output. I tried multiple Warmup frame counts, tested both Editor Remote Render and custom MoviePipelineRuntimeExecutor, but the results remain consistent.
- Are there any additional configurations or console variables required to ensure Remote Render output matches Local Render quality in Path Tracer?
- Could this issue be related to Unreal Engine configuration differences, or does it stem from potential hardware or GPU performance limitations?
- Are there any known differences in how Path Tracer handles texture streaming or virtual textures (UDIM) between Editor and Remote rendering contexts?
Jack
Thanks~
