Diference in shadow quality on same material

Hello everyone,

I was wondering what would cause the difference in shadow quality on the same matieral. This is my water shader. The shadow cast on the normals are sharp and clean, yet when shadow is cast on the white foam (Base color) they are jagged and alot darker.

I have tried increasing the lightmap of the water’s plane mesh to 1024 without result.

Maybe do a separate screenshot of what you expect VS what you have?
As it is, it’s kind of impossible to determine what shadow is which.
And it doesn’t really look wrong since the other mesh has about the same darkness to it.
