I’m the solo developer behind HEXA-WORLD-3D, and this is the very first devlog here on Steam. I wanted to say a quick hello and share what I’ve been working on lately.
HEXA-WORLD-3D is a fast-paced 3D hexagon puzzle game where you compete for high scores in various modes — including endless runs, 5-minute challenges, and procedurally generated levels with progression.
Procedural Level Generation
I’ve just finished implementing procedural generation for levels. That means every game session is different — the field layout, locked tiles, available blocks, and even difficulty scale depending on your level and mode.
No more repeating the same layout — each round feels fresh and slightly unpredictable.
Tile Skins
I’ve also added visual styles for tiles depending on the map you play on:
Winter map has icy, soft-looking pieces
Cozy room features warm and colorful tiles
Office map keeps it clean and minimal
More maps and skins are planned for future updates, possibly including seasonal themes and unlockables as you level up.
