Summary
When shooting the Destruction Device from a distance where player-built structures are not rendered, it ignores those structures and the damage applies directly to the device.
■ Reproduction Steps:
- Surround the Destruction Device with player-built structures.
- Have Player 1 shoot at it from different distances.
- Have Player 2 stand next to the device to observe effects.
■ Test Results:
- At close and mid-range (where structures are visible): the bullets hit the structures and show proper visual/sound effects.
- At far range (where the structures are no longer rendered for Player 1): no effects or sounds are observed by Player 2, and the structures take no damage.
→ However, the Destruction Device still receives damage as if the structures were not there.
■ Notes:
It seems that the hit detection does not consider non-rendered player-built structures when calculating damage.

Steps to Reproduce
Place a destructible device and surround it with player-built structures (walls).
Have Player 1 shoot the device from a close distance. Observe that the structures block the damage correctly.
Have Player 1 shoot from a farther distance where the structures are no longer rendered.
Player 2 stays near the device to observe the effects.
Expected Result
The player-built structures should block the weapon damage regardless of the attacker’s distance or whether the structures are rendered on their client. The destructible object should not take any damage unless the structure is broken.
Observed Result
When a player shoots from a certain distance where player-built structures are no longer rendered, the damage from the weapon ignores those structures and goes directly to the target device (destructible object). No impact effects or sounds are triggered from the blocked shot, and no damage is registered on the structures, but the device still takes damage.
