I am trying to fracture a placed actor in the world (stone or whatever I need for survival) and therefore I use a geometry collection in my stone actor for the fracture with chaos. The Problem is, I have no idea how to fracture something by an amount at a specific location. Now i created a field, that I spawn at the location, where the pickaxe hits the stone, but somehow it is still not quite working. It always destroys all of the stone and not little parts of it where the field is actually hitting it. It also seems like that it sometimes only fractures, when the field is active and I walk against it. I also have the problem, that all the little fractured parts have collsion enabled and therefore push against my character, when walking. This just results in massive bugging around the world. I am not quite sure about what I am doing wrong, but maybe someone knows about this.
