I am rendering a small sequence, and at a certain point the DoF brakes like this, parts of it are rendered and parts are not. I am using Movie Render Queue, and I have the Depth of Field on Cinematic. Does anyone know what is causing this and how to solve it?
If anyone runs into this, what solved it for me was unchecking Alpha Output in the project settings
You just saved me after spending 10 hours trying to remove elements from my scene one by one (light, postprocessing volume, camera, etc.).
This was causing horrible DOF glitches and DOF offsets (like you)!
This happened when rendering the sequence, and not in the editor. It was enough to tear all the hairs out of your head!!
How did you find the solution? What is Alpha Output actually? I suspect version 5.5.1 introduced this bug.

I had the exact same issue and spent hours to investigate it, when disabling alpha support it just went away… which saves me a lot of work because I otherwise would had to add DOF in post production.
