Default post process material Help

I accidently changed the default post process material in the engine content tab and now when ever I try to open up the normal unreal engine shortcut it crashes and says this

Fatal error: [File:D:/Build/++UE4+Licensee/Sync/Engine/Source/Runtime/Engine/Private/Materials/MaterialShared.cpp] [Line: 1858] Failed to compile default material DefaultPostProcessMaterial!

And I don’t know how to fix it I can open up my projects through shortcuts but I can’t open up the normal unreal engine browser do I have to fix the material or do I have to do something else And if I do have to redo the material can someone send me a picture of it because I can’t remember how it goes.

Thanks-Raheem

You can run a repair from the launcher on that particular version of the engine, and it should seek out and do a checksum verification against every asset normally included when you download the engine and replace it if the checksum doesn’t match which should repair that file. If you have made a bunch of changes to the content you might want to back that up first by copying those changed files outside the engine directory then copy them back in 1 by 1 making sure the engine still works.

To do this open up the launcher, right click on the version of the engine that is broken and select Repair. It can take some time so be ready for that.
