HOW DO YOU FADE THE SQUARE EDGES OF SCANS DECALS?
what obvious thing am I missing in front of me that fades the edges?
cuz I don’t believe this common sense thing doesn’t exist

Hey there @Pouyad! Setting up a custom material function for opacity or using depth fade node might be useful depending on your use case. Hope this helps!

Thank you brother
It kind of solved it, it let me to fade out ONE direction ONLY.
But it rendered all my other decals useless and a plain black screen.
IDK why, it is supposed to apply the change to all Megascans but it rendered the rest as a blank sheet
That could be due to the fact that Megascans materials come from a singular material and many are just Material Instances of it. I’d recommend making a duplicate or a material parameter to apply these. You could combine 4 of those gradients or just make a square gradient texture to use. Alternatively this radial method should feather all edges but in a circle.
