Day Sequence device's broken after v24.20

Trying to launch my project and I’m getting erorr’s regarding my Day Sequence devices, unable to save or launch session.

Hey @JohnBrown51

Just to make sure I understand the full context of the problem.
Are these devices getting “modified” when pressing the “launch session” button ?
And where these devices modified before ?

Can you also hover on the icon next to the asset name to see what it is saying in the tooltip please?

Hi Nysuatro_1, sorry for the late reply, despite having all my notification settings on I’m not receiving actual notifications, because it’s been a few days now, it’s showing the devices as they would normally but it won’t let me save the project, when I first made this post a few days ago I was getting the Insufficient Permissions to save pop-up as well and I also have Revision Control on.

Regarding your question regarding the devices, I personally haven’t modified them in close to a week now as I’ve been working on other parts of my map and they’re preconfigured with some adjustments I’ve made for the zones / areas that they’re allocated to, if I update them before attempting to publish the map and attempt to save I still get the same issue as well as the dirty assets message.

And the bottom attached image is the current section of the map that I’ve been working on that for some reason had been corrupted in a sense (the street tiles were attached to the other tiles present and they now no longer are) when update v24.20 was released, when the downtime / updating was occurring for Fortnite however, I was still working on the project under the assumption that just like prior to a downtime on Fortnite that I would’ve been disconnected from the Editor at some point. Once the downtime / updating was complete, I’ve come back to my project to see the above stated errors and issues and the part of my map which again I’ve said has been corrupted in a sense but not an issue to fix of course due to the small amount that had occurred.

Do you see any errors within your message Log when trying to launch session ?

And when trying to login to Revision Control I also get these messages;

The issue with the DaySequenceDevice being modified on project load should be fixed in the next release. That is separate from the revision control issues you’re having though.

We were also seeing this issue with a Team shared project. Without touching the device, it was triggering Revision changes and becoming checked out by a team member. This would cause anyone trying to push changes to the project to have conflicts.

We had to remove the device just to continue committing changes.
