Hello everyone, I am having trouble with Archicad 29 Datasmith Exporter. I deleted the old one on my PC and been trying to instalL the new one. The process at the end is still searching for a residue somewhere, and not letting me install the new version.
I have some projects to modify and would like some help to resolve this. Is it a good idea to uninstall all archicads that I have and restart over ? I tried everything else. There is no .msi file anywhere on my pc.

This is a problem where some of the leftover files from the previous installation are blocking the current installer from completing successfully.
To resolve this issue, you will need to remove the leftover files.
The easiest way is if you remember which version of the plugin you used before. Redownloading the old plugin installer, then running that installer and completing the installation for the old version of the plugin should work without the same problem. Once this is complete, you can use the Windows uninstaller to fully uninstall and remove all files for this version. This will then allow you to install the new version of the plugin without issues.
Since you mentioned you do not have the old version of the installer, you would need to download it again from https://www.twinmotion.com/plugins/archicad if you remember which version you used. This list is not comprehensive, and some versions of the plugin have been replaced by newer hotfix versions, however, all versions are still available for download. If you do not see the version you need, then you can adjust the URL for any installer to match the version you require, as all URLs follow the same format.
