Data Layers interrup player input


Greetings everyone!
I use trigger boxes to load and unload data layers. When overlap one of them, my first person character just stops, receiving not input for the holding key. I need to remove my hand from the key “w” and press it again to start walking again every single time, even when fps stays 60 so I don’t think it is performance related. This wasn’t happening in my previous builds. I think this is a bug. Is there anyone experiencing something similar or knowing a solution for this?

Hey there @Skarlax771! This could be a bug, as loading or unloading data layers shouldn’t cause the player controller to change. It could be that the player is changing streaming volumes, though if this is a new occurrence that may not be the case.

Is that the Horror Engine player controller and pawn I see?

Could you try loading new areas without unloading any others and see if it occurs when you load specifically or unload specifically?
