Hi guys i baked a building i made on production quality and i noticed my ceiling was really dark. Is there anything i can do so it wont look as dark as it does. I remember building it in unreal engine 4.4 and it didn’t have this problem, but when i built it in 4.5 Some areas of it seem to be pitch black i have uploaded some photos. Could it be my directional light settings? or world settings? Thanks in advance.
There’s a big issue with the lighting there, other than just the ceiling. There’s a distinct lack of shadows which could be due to your lights or bad lightmap setup on your meshes.
thanks for the response i figured out the problem i think i adjusted the bloom and some other directional light settings which distorted the shadows.
