I don’t know if you will understand what I mean, so I will provide screenshots. After the transfer the dark areas of the map became completely black, you can’t see anything in them, while before it was just dark and you could see the contents of the scene. What is responsible for this?
I suspect the problem is in global illumination, but I don’t know which one specifically.

The ‘Skylight’ actor can be used to brighten the shadows.
Perhaps previously you were working with baked/built lighting and were seeing a baked result of the photons bouncing around.
