Summary

Cybertruck Skin is breaking Fortnite objects in creative maps. Only happens when backing up the Cybertruck and hitting Fortnite objects with the back corner of the truck.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Be playing Fortnite Creative Map
  2. Have Cybertruck skin equip for SUV
  3. Be driving Cybertruck
  4. Back up into Fortnite Objects on an angle
  5. Observe Fortnite Objects are destroyed

Expected Result

Fornite Objects are not destroyed when hit with any vehicle.

Observed Result

Fortnite Objects are destroyed when hit with a Cybertruck as described above

I’ve had reports from players of something similar happening on my island Drive Nation RP.

Players have been reporting large amounts of the map missing or destroyed such as the Main City spawn (see below). It looks like it’s affecting Fortnite Props and Custom BP Actors. Custom Static Meshes seem unaffected. It looks like the Cybertruck is the only vehicle able to destroy these props.

Here’s another example of the issue affecting the massive bridge on our island. The cybertruck is able to destroy the bridge, leaving a huge void and preventing players from being able to reach a hidden bonus board.

Hopefully this can be patched quickly as it’s having a large impact on the player experience of our island!

Hey Flak. can you give us a link to the bug that this is a duplicate of? The bug reporter says this was closed due to being a duplicate. We would like to track the status of this issue.
