Summary
When “Base Visible” option is set to “False” on the Customizable Light Gallery torch with fire, the torch base becomes visible once you select “Start Game” from the Menu. The base remains visible when you return to creative, even though the “Base Visible” option has remained set to “False”.
Steps to Reproduce
- Start a new island in Fortnite Creative mode.
- Enter the newly created Island through the Creative portal.
- Open the Creative menu.
- Select the Galleries tab.
- Open the Customizable Light Gallery.
- Place the Customizable Light with the fire.
- Interact with the Customizable light.
- Select the All Options tab.
- Set “Base Visible” option to False.
- Select “OK” to confirm the options.
- Open the Game Menu, and select Start Game.
- Return to where you placed the Customizable Light.
- Inspect the Customizable Light, paying special attention to the visibility of the base.
- Open the Game Menu, and select End Game.
- Return to where you placed the Customizable light, paying special attention to the visibility of the base.
- Interact with the Customizable light.
- Select the All Options tab, paying special attention to the “Base Visible” option.
Expected Result
The Customizable Light base would not appear visible when Start Game is selected from the Game Menu. The Customizable Light base would also appear not visible upon returning to Creative after selecting End Game from the Game Menu.
Observed Result
The Customizable Light base becomes invisible when “Base Visible” is set to False in your Creative Island, but the invisibility does not persist once you select Start Game from the Game Menu. Upon selecting End Game from the Game Menu and returning to your Creative Island, the Customizable Light base appears visible, even though the “Base Visible” option remains set to False.
