Unreal Editor for Fortnite

What Type of Bug are you experiencing?

Unreal Revision Control

Summary

Teammate on our collaboration project added custom Verse devices to our Island. When I sync’d to latest, I got the following error message: “Verse Validation Errors; This level contains devices that refer to missing Verse classes. These classes may have been renamed, moved, or deleted. To fix the problem, undo those changes in VSCode and rebuild…”

Closing the editor and reopening without making a choice in the pop up error window seems to do the trick with completing the sync. This is an easy fix, but I thought it may be useful information for those working in a team setting.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. In a collaborative project, person 1 adds custom Verse code to a team project and verifies that the project compiles and can launch into a game session.
  2. Person 2 syncs to the latest revision, receives the above error message.

Expected Result

The initial sync would pull down all the necessary Verse code.

Observed Result

Closing/re-opening the editor is necessary to complete the Sync

Platform(s)

Windows 11

Additional Notes

This is an FYI; I do not require further assistance.
