Summary

Damage Volumes treat Custom NPCs via NPC spawner as a creature AND Ignores team ID configuration

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Spawn a custom NPC via npc spawner
  2. In the npc character definition modify the team id to 1
  3. Configure damage zone to damage creatures, invert team id to ignore team 1
  4. place damage volume over npc spawn
  5. start game
  6. watch the damage volume damage team id 1 spawned npc

Expected Result

The damage volume should ignore the team id even if its a creature

Observed Result

The status of FORT-744835 incident has been moved from ‘In Testing’ to ‘Closed’. Resolution Reason: ‘Fixed’

I think the issue is that teams on custom characters are screwed up. We also can’t set custom NPCs teams through Verse as it fails for no reason.
Basically custom NPCs behave like Wildlife no matter what.
