Summary
If you pick up an item such as the Lawless Slap Canon or Chug Canon which takes up 2 inventory slots on the player HUD - the item is not recognized as taking up 2 slots. While the HUD has the item cover 2 slots, 4 additional items can still be collected - 1 is always invisible as it is stored in the covered space.

Steps to Reproduce
Pick up a Lawless Slap Canon or Chug Canon - then fill your inventory with 3, then 4 other items. When you drop items, you will see you have 5 unique items, including the double slot canon.
Expected Result
You should only be able to hold 3 additional items in your inventory.
Observed Result
You can hold 4 items in your inventory, despite not having the space for it.
