Steps to Reproduce

Enable Custom Inventory and Items (Experimental) on a project.
Bind the interact action to the scroll wheel up or down.
Approach an interactable button/object and attempt to interact using scroll wheel.
Observe that the interact input does not register.
Equip a blueprint, then attempt to interact using scroll wheel — it now works.
Switch to the blueprint item, then press custom keybind “1” (bound to pickaxe) to switch back to the pickaxe.

Expected Result

Scroll wheel interact should work regardless of which item/weapon is currently held.
Pressing “1” (custom keybind for pickaxe) should switch the player back to the pickaxe at any time.

Observed Result

Scroll wheel interact only functions while holding the blueprint; it is ignored when holding any other item or no item.
After switching to the blueprint, pressing “1” does not switch back to the pickaxe — the keybind is unresponsive.

Platform(s)

PC (Keyboard and Mouse)

Additional Notes

This appears related to the known keybind issues with Custom Items and Inventory (FORT-1066116). The problem does not occur when Custom Items and Inventory is disabled.
