Hello!
I’ve encountered an issue with Custom Boundary navigation fields being inexplicably cleared from my Widget Blueprint. I have two List View widgets, and I’ve created Custom Boundary navigation rules in order to select the correct widget in each List View when navigating between the two. However, occasionally I have found the custom rules no longer working in-game, and when I check the widgets, the Custom Boundary navigation fields have been cleared, and the Navigation type is changed back to the default Escape instead. Switching them back to the Custom Boundary navigation rule works; however this has happened at least 3 times now over the past 8 months. I am sure nobody is clearing this field intentionally. Is this a known issue and is there a fix or work-around? I’ve attached an image of the fields I’m talking about; it is the Up navigation field that will occasionally be reset back to Escape.
Thanks!
Matt

Hi there,
I’ve started looking into this case. I haven’t been able to find any issues or cases related to this topic. I do not think this is a known issue.
Are you able to provide a set of reproduction steps or a minimal repro project? I understand that for an issue that has only occurred 3 times in 8 months you may be unsure of how to trigger it. But if you have any info that could help narrow down what could be causing it that would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Louis

I don’t have any repro steps sadly. It just seems to happen randomly.

Hi again,
I apologize but unfortunately without sufficient information I cannot provide a workaround or submit a bug report to look into this further. If the issue occurs again if you can make note of the circumstances, provide the logs or anything relevant to the case we might be able to proceed. Feel free to reply to this case again even if it has closed automatically.

Totally understand; I wish I had more to go on. I just wanted to post my issue on the off chance that someone else has experienced this and knew of a cause/fix. I will update the thread if I’m able to come up with any concrete repro steps or other info. Thanks for your time![Attachment Removed]
Thank you for understanding,
I will close this case for now, however do not hesitate to update the case if you discover something new.
Cheers,
Louis
