Im building my house and today i added upstairs.
I got a surface from quixel bridge and added the material to the building to see what it looks like.
If you look in the image above, the ground floor looks fine.
The upstairs looks different.
How would i get them so it looks seemless top to bottom?
Ive tried rebuilding it all in one but with same results.
Thanks

You’ve used UVs on the meshes, and the scale of the top floor mesh is not the same as the ground floor.
Two solutions:
-
Scale them both the same
-
Use a world aligned material

Hi, thanks for replying
Quick question before i watch the video:
Is it a wrong practise to use UV’s on the meshes?
Thanks
UVs tell the textures how to apply to the object.
If you want to be specific, then use UVs.
If you just want an overal brick or plank look to the whole thing, then use world aligned.
Just different use cases.
