The attacks of the zombies of The Walking Dead Universe seem to not work in my project. You can find attached a video of me showing the issue from scratch by placing the device with its default settings in my map and then creating a NPC Character Definition and setting it as a “walker”.
For your info, “Teams” are set to “Free for All” in my island settings, so it can’t be because of this that zombies don’t attack.

Place a NPC Spawner in your map
Create a NPC character definition
Set the type of the character definition as “Walker”
Put that NPC character definition in the NPC Spawner
Start the game
Expected Result
When close to a player, the zombie attacks and deals damage
Observed Result
When close to a player, the zombie doesn’t attack and doesn’t deal damage
If by “editor session” you mean a game session (live editing), yes it still happens. I’ve tried closing the game, UEFN, and even restarting my computer and it still happens.
On the other hand, I’ve tried creating a brand new project using the same island template and it seems to work as expected. Would you recommend starting a new project and archiving this one?
Oh, after a (very) long investigation, I think I’ve found the problem. The bug seems to only happen when the settings “No Cooldowns After Use” in the island settings is checked.
