Save all updated assets

Expected Result

Can start game

Observed Result

There is no lego minifigure in the lobby
Fortnite character is killed in the uefn lobby (where there are hexagons and trees)

FORT-924671 has been created and its status is ‘Unconfirmed’. This is now in a queue to be reproduced and confirmed.

I think I did not have the “outofmemory” part in the error message.

Hi Probably have to wait until Epic have finished.
There are six entries about cook failure this month, but over 20 over the last six months, currently some errors occur on PC but not on console Launches.
This problem is far deeper then we indie dev can understand and replicate

I have exactly the same error as you, but I don’t understand where it comes from, when I launch a session my player dies and I get this error message :

Do your islands use streaming? In another post, there was cook problem .
The post basically is something to do with HLOD streaming works

This particular project never cooks (after 36.0 while other projects work ok regardless of streaming settings). I wonder what it says in the server error.

I disabled streaming and deleted data layers:

Server error again - response is not JSON and timeout.

Today, the Failed to cook issue was resolved for me. When I launched the editor after the 36.10 update, it told me it needs 5+GB space when I only have 3GB free. I made some space and launched the project. There was no cook error, only timeout.

I then deleted 200+ assets (fortnite props) and was able to launch the session.

I was hoping for a video. Never known this and i was thinking you could have the world record for the only person killed in the portal lobby :rofl:

Yes, it’s activated, I’ll try to deactivate it when I get back tonight to see if it works, but I don’t understand why it only happens on a “specific island” and if it works when I deactivate the “streaming” option, can I reactivate it afterwards?

Oh yes, I’ve also taken over an old version with “revision control”, everything works, I can launch the game, etc., but every time I make a new modification (small or large), move an object, etc., it resets the same error message.

I have streaming on, I only turned it off once to test some time ago.

Where did you see that you needed 5GB for your project? And how did you add more ( GB )?

I got the message on UEFN launch. I deleted screenshots and promotional videos I made to free up space.
