So I’ve had the infinite “Processing” issue before, but I was always able to eventually fix it by exiting out of UEFN and the client and restarting. However this time after several hours I can’t get the client to work, even quitting the program many times, and after taking a long break and returning to UEFN. It appears this issue is happening in multiple projects of mine, not just one. The only thing I did differently recently was import a new texture and mess around with some material nodes. Is there anything more I can do? Thanks!
I’m attaching my most recent logs, when the infinite processing happened again. All I did was press Play. I moved around some meshes while waiting. BlueClairy_Logs_Sept21.zip (646.4 KB)
Update: Today I opened a new project and I’m able to load that game on the client, no more endless Preparing or Processing. However I still can’t test my old project from yesterday, where all of my recent important work is. It’s stuck on Downloading, at 100%.
Is there a way for me to grab the environment from my old project and move it into a new project? If so, and if it works, I could just start my project over in a new map. I really need the environment art from my old project, I can live without the logic.
Also, just now I tried accessing the broken project from the hub in Creative and it doesn’t show up at all in my list of maps on the Console. It’s like it doesn’t exist.
I made a copy of the project in the files on my PC and used Browse to pull up the copy. I can use the editor in the copy, same as I could in the old one, but I get the same infinite Preparing issue in the copy too.
