Critical - Ctrl-Rig Editor won't allow me to add nodes.

Hey, i’ve been using the Ctrl-Rig editor to create custom character animations but as of the latest UEFN update I noticed that when I try to create nodes inside the editor it doesn’t show any results for nodes to add an action. The only action available is the ‘Add Comment’ action.

Before the update, it would show results for nodes to add to the editor but now nothing is added. The only way to add nodes is if I have them already in an existing project and copy/paste them into the editor. But unfortunately that means I can’t use add any nodes that I haven’t used before.

Heres an example of the node not generating any actions:

How to Replicate:

  • Right Click the Content Browser
  • Click Animation → Control Rig → Control Rig.
  • Open Control Rig
  • Once opened, right click inside editor to add nodes (Or add on from the Forward Solve Node)
Result: Actions / Nodes won’t show up.
Expected Result: List of nodes should be available to select from.

I’ve tried looking to see if there were any other locations or areas in the editor that would show the actions however there was no luck there.

Not sure if the nodes are locked behind permissions or not? Would be great to get this fixed since otherwise the control rig is completely unusable.

Hey there @ImBlanky! Thanks for calling this out! The team is aware and we’ll take a look at this as soon as we can. Thanks!
