Critical - Creative reverts progress if left not synced in background for more than an hour

Summary

So if you have Creative in the background (live edit) open and you keep working on UEFN, it will eventually desync then after a while it will revert progress of what you did in UEFN to what Creative sees at the time before it desynced.

This has happened multiple times and unfortunately I had to instantly close UEFN so the autosave doesn’t save this corrupted state, which didn’t let me get logs. Has happened twice so far though and it seems very destructive

Steps to Reproduce

Open live edit
Leave it in the background
Work in UEFN for at least an hour

Expected Result

Nothing happens

Observed Result

At some point, your work will get deleted in UEFN viewport

Yes, I had to save manually all the time.

In editor, you can control precision better, easy copy, mirror, leverage folder management etc, but the result will look different when you start the game, building in edit mode ensures all will look like it should in the game mode.

Ended up not using it because of selection bugs (can grab audio player instead of highlighted prop I want to copy etc). For new maps, I will probably start with live editing again, then switch to editor only.
